I have been teaching within the private and public sectors for the last fifteen years. I am an enthusiastic Chemistry teacher, with a 1st Class degree. I have tutored a huge variety of students in the past, some of whom were only achieving a grade E at GCSE when they began the tuition and have gained an A* grade on their actual exams after my tuition.

My most recent year 13 A-level students both achieved a grade A in their final exams. When I began tutoring them they had only achieved a grade D on their year 12 exams without any tuition. I have also taken on a student who achieved a grade U in year 12 and I worked with him over the summer on a weekly basis. By the time he returned to school and resat his mock exam, which decided his university predicted grade, he achieved an A, which was within just 7 weeks of my tuition.

I have tutored students studying AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and Salters-Nuffield A-level Chemistry, so I am very aware of the types of questions that can come up and how to tackle the past papers in order to achieve the highest possible grades.

I aim to quickly find the students` weaker areas, help to break up the material, improve their confidence in the subject, and work on their exam technique, which is vital for GCSE and A-level success. I will supply copious amounts of resources to develop their application and reading of tricky questions.
